Economic Development Coordinator
Natasha Richer joined the Economic Development Corporation in January of 2013. Prior to working with the EDC, Natasha gained 10 years in Operations Management experience with Neiman Marcus. She graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management. With the opportunities to work for companies like The Four Seasons, RR Donnelley, and Neiman Marcus, Natasha has focused on areas involving employee management, project management, business operations, and process workflows. Working with the EDC allows her to apply her experience in these areas and participate in the growth of Little Elm!
Natasha has served as a member of the Texas Economic Development Council since 2016 and actively participates in organizations including Industrial Asset Management Council, International Economic Development Council, and Team Texas. In 2018, Natasha started Oklahoma University’s Economic Development Institute. The OU EDI experience is designed to immediately impact a participant’s professional career by providing comprehensive courses that align with the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), as well as the latest trends in economic development. She is on track to graduate in the spring of 2020.
Natasha lives in Prosper with her husband, Brian, retired Little Elm Fire Chief. Together they have four boys, Nathan, Austin, Mason and Brady and a daughter-in-law, Lindsey. Although she is Prosper Proud, she will tell you she is Little Elm Loyal and is grateful for the opportunity to help grow Little Elm in to the unique hidden gem that it is!
