Tony Singh, a dedicated council member for the Town of Little Elm, carries with him a strong sense of commitment to community service. Born in India, Tony’s upbringing was shaped by the values instilled in him by his father, who served in the Indian Navy. These early lessons in discipline and dedication have guided Tony throughout his life.

In 2003, Tony embarked on a journey that led him to the United States, where he pursued his graduate degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington. During his time at the university, he met his wife, Crystal, and together they have built a loving family. Their household in Little Elm is complete with both cats and dogs, all living together in perfect harmony. Tony Singh also holds an MBA degree from the University of Texas at Arlington

Family is at the heart of Tony’s community-oriented spirit. He believes that by giving back and engaging in volunteer work, he can contribute to building a better community for his family and all residents of Little Elm. His father’s legacy of service continues to inspire him in his role as a council member.

Tony’s commitment to the community further exemplifies his founding of two impactful non-profit organizations. “LEAF (Little Elm Angels Foundation)” focuses on supporting the community through volunteer efforts, aiding first responders, combating hunger, assisting other non-profit organizations, and supporting teachers and students. Simultaneously, “Cricket for Cause” strives to promote cricket in the area by expanding the availability of cricket fields, making the sport accessible for people to play, and fostering a love for cricket within the American community.

In addition to these endeavors, Tony is renowned for organizing the annual “Diwali at the Beach” event, a vibrant celebration of the Festival of Lights that unites the community. This event is a testament to Tony’s commitment to cultural diversity and inclusivity, as it brings together residents from all backgrounds to celebrate Diwali in a unique and memorable way.

These family values, combined with his dedication to community service through LEAF, Cricket for Cause, and the “Diwali at the Beach” event, make Tony Singh a driving force for positive change in the Town of Little Elm.
