Union Park, the newest master-planned community in Little Elm, is celebrating its Grand Opening this month with the completion of the first phase of community amenities. The community is developed by Hillwood Communities and will have over 3,200 homes at completion.

Union Park is centered upon a central park, The Park, that will be over 40 acres and include an array of walking, hike and bike trails. The unique park concept was developed to allow the community to have a gathering space for friends and family and to encourage healthy living, one of Hillwood Communities LiveSmart development principles.

Homeowners will also enjoy The Cove, a shady resort-style pool tucked into a beautiful grove of trees. The pool area offers cabanas with privacy curtains, lounge and table seating options, tanning decks and relaxation hammocks. Adjacent to The Cove is The Kitch, an outdoor grill and prep area for parties and events. The Kitch has an integrated sound system and television and overlooks a small event lawn with festoon lights.

The Porch is a multi-use community center with a large porch featuring outdoor seating, an oversized fireplace, and large-screen television all overlooking the beautiful views of The Park and open spaces. The Hall, with a catering kitchen and recreational space flanks one side of the open space, and The Hub Lifestyle Center where the Lifestyle Manager’s offices are located is on the other side.

Union Park features 5 of the area’s top homebuilders: American Legend Homes, Drees Homes, Emerald Homes, Highland Homes and Plantation Homes. Each builder offers an array of floorplans priced from the high $200s to the $500s.

Located just 3 miles west of the Dallas North Tollway, Union Park students attend Denton ISD schools. All students will have the advantage of attending school within 1 mile of their home. The newest Denton High School, Braswell High School is scheduled to open this fall and it is directly across 380 from the community.

Union Park recently hosted The Taste of Union Park, a celebration of the lifestyle and activities that are offered for the community. Over 800 people turned out to eat at the food truck park, listen to live music, ride in the hot air balloon, play bubble soccer, fly kites and play games.
