Projects for 2022 totaled more than $63M.

This year marks the 10th straight year the LE EDC has been ranked in the top 20 by the DBJ.

“Little Elm is consistently named as a top area for development in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex,” said Jennette Espinosa, Executive Director of the Little Elm Economic Development Corporation.

Espinosa, who has been with the EDC for more than twelve years, has worked diligently to attract unique concepts to Little Elm, including Hydrous Cable Wakeboarding Park and the only Hula Hut outside of Austin, Texas. Additional developments to The Lakefront at Little Elm™. include Tinman Social, a two-story entertainment venue featuring bowling, ax-throwing, shuffleboard and a bar/restaurant. Also, recently opened, a 77-room, boutique hotel by Wyndham, called The Elm. The view from the fourth-floor lobby are breathtaking.

Little Elm is also home to the largest swim beach in North Texas, tournament-quality sand volleyball courts, a cable wakeboarding park, a lakeside amphitheater with frequent live music events, and outstanding parks and unique restaurants.

The deals included in this year’s total include:

• Elm Ridge Retail 11,200 sq. ft.
• Breezeway Business Park 124,500 sq. ft.
• Shawnee Trail Building 4 10,235 sq. ft.
• Union Park Starbucks 2,200 sq. ft.
• Palladium Phase II Retail 17,024 sq. ft.
• Starbucks at Eldorado West 2,262 sq. ft.
• Gold’s Gym 30,447 sq. ft.
• King and Cardinal 2,000 sq. ft.
• Realty One 1,875 sq. ft

The list ranks Economic Development Agencies in Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant, and Wise Counties. Participants are then assessed for total value and the number of deals produced in that year.
