Michael McClellan

My family and I moved to Little Elm in 1970 and have seen a lot of changes over the years. I graduated from LEHS 1979 with 19 classmates. My wife Lisa of 20 years is an Art Teacher at Powell, 6th Grade Campus. We have two sons.

I began in public service as a member of the Park Board in 1995, served for almost 4 years before moving to the Planning and Zoning Commission, where I served for 18+ years and then as a member of the Town Council until May 2017. I have been grateful to be included as a participant in the Library Design Advisory Committee as well as, the Comprehensive Planning Committee in 2000, 2008 and 2017.

My unique experience and historical knowledge of Little Elm allows me to serve the citizens of Little Elm, continue the momentum, growth and prosperity while developing a unique community and ensure we make Little Elm the place we all want to live, raise our children and honor those who have served before us.
